Brief Summary:

As an archipelagic state, Indonesia is faced with immense challenge and responsibility to properly handle and manage its plastics waste. The Indonesian government has put forward its national strategy and policy on household waste management in the form of Presidential Decree No. 97 / 2017. As a consequence, the awareness on the importance of plastics recycling has reached new height, thus creating business opportunities. However, there are still many challenges faced by the Indonesian plastics recyclers that hinder its growth.

Indonesian Plastics Recyclers (IPR) is a non-profit, business representing association that comprises of plastics recycling companies. Our vision is to contribute to the environment through implementation of Circular Economy by means of recycling of plastics waste in Indonesia. This seminar aims to inform and engage key stakeholders on the topics of market trends, technology, as well as government policy and regulations. Thought leaders will gather and address main issues surrounding plastics recycling in Indonesia. Seize the opportunity to gain the most up to date and valuable insights.
